Dear Philadelphia

Dear Philadelphia, my first love,

I met my first love in the summer

When we were lost in your cobbled streets

You took us by the hand and showed us love

In the art museums and concert halls

Within the city limits of brotherly love

I have been thinking of you lately

But I am afraid to visit your parks and restaurants

You deceived me into thinking that we were eternal

And my stomach churns to think of you.
